My name is Joel Tidy. I am a sound designer. I graduated from Bournemouth university studying TV production. 

I have always had a passion for TV and film, wondering how they fitted a series of visuals into a strong story. This turned into fascination with music and sound, how they can tell the audience what to feel before they see it. 

Audio tends to get overlooked in TV but is one of the most important factors. Without audio, the show leaves a emptiness with the audience. 

I trained on production and post-production in sound. I have experience as a sound recordist  on multiple shoots. Though my talents are behind a computer screen as a sound designer. I work on dialogue editing, sound effects editor, Foley artist and Foley recordist as well as having my own sound effects library
